The legend of real Indian food.

Legend has it that they came from distant lands including Persia, Turkey, Afghanistan, England, and even Portugal; they navigated turbulent oceans and braved mountainous terrain. They brought with them tradition, culture, customs and cuisines that today helps form what is now, the great country of India. Our quest to master the culinary secrets of this vast country has been a rewarding journey, taking us through the saffron fields of the Himalayas, the mustard harvests of the Punjab, life amongst the most primitive tribes in Rajasthan and the unforgettable encounters with royalty. From yummy street food & authentic, regional curries to the everyday meal on a platter & appetising grills you’ll find it all here at Orissa...

THE KITCHEN

Our chefs

Executive Chef

Our chefs have been hand picked and have individually over 15 years experience in the art of cooking authentic and contemporary Indian Cuisine. Orissa main chef has been with us from the beginning and prides himself in providing a taste of home with dish he serves. His expertise and savoir-faire have grown and flourished and his experience is matchless. He constantly seeks new ways to express his skills, viewing other dining establishments as good and healthy competition. He feels without them, there would not be a standard, and his is very high. Refusing to accept second-best at any level, be it with ingredients or his sous-chefs, he ensures that excellence is his byword, and that the customer will always have the right to expect nothing less, while he is at the helm.
